TEAM PEI – Provincial Tackle
Football PEI will be sending 2 teams to participate in the 2026 Atlantic Bowl held July 7 – 12 in Fredericton, NB. Games will be held at the UNB Campus in a partnership with the UNB Reds.
Athletes must be born between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2013 to be eligible for the 2026 event.
U18 – 2009-2010
U16 – 2011-2013
Athletes and parents are asked to Like/Follow our social media account(s) listed below for the most up to date public information. Athletes that are selected to the final roster will be invited to join their coaches and other teammates on a mobile app for important team information and direct communication.

Development & Identification Camps
The U16 Tackle Development & ID Camps are open to athletes born between 2011-2013.
All athletes are welcome to register regardless of their interest in the provincial teams – those looking to only develop their tackle football skills are welcome.
It is not mandatory to attend all sessions to be eligible for provincial team selection – see Football PEI’s Player Selection Process.
Registration for the Dev./ID Camp will remain open until the end of the Camps.
The Fee is for all sessions and can not be pro-rated for any missed sessions or late registration.

Final Rosters & Practices
For those attending the ID Camps, Final Rosters will be made following the 5 ID Camp sessions.
Final Rosters will be posted online between May 19-22 (TBD).
Athletes named to the final roster must make a $350 non-refundable down-payment to hold their roster spot.
Any roster spots forfeited may be re-filled by the coaching staff and the player selection committee.
Final amount owed will not be collected until all fundraising is complete just prior to the tournament.
For those wishing, a payment plan may be discussed.
The Fee is for all sessions and can not be pro-rated for any missed sessions.

– High-Performance Program: All U18 athletes will receive components of the pilot project HPP during both the Development & ID Camp phase and the Final Roster & Practice phase. We will be working with Sport Health and Science professionals who support developing elite athletes. Sessions may include: Athlete Testing, Speed Training, Mental Training, Nutrition Information.
Fee: $230
