A CRC/VSC is required by all Football PEI Coaches. The CRC/VSC must be completed within the last 12 months to be approved. Approved CRC/VSC’s will expire after 3 years and must be renewed.
In order to have your CRC/VSC completed for free, send your Full Legal Name, Email Address and NCCP# to: Football PEI Executive Director for a Volunteer CRC/VSC Request Letter.
When you send this information to Football PEI, you will receive an email back with an attachment. This is the letter you can print and bring to the Police or RCMP closest to your residence to get your free Criminal Background Checks (Vulnerable Sector). You will need this letter along with photocopies of two pieces of government issued identification. One of the pieces must be a photo ID and you will need to have photocopied the two pieces of ID (both front and back) onto a piece of paper and bring it with you. This step may take up to two weeks. Once you get your VSC, take a photo of the document and update your Sildeline Learning Requirement. Please keep this document in your records – your Club may also ask to see it.
