Football PEI will be hosting a Provincial Flag Preparation Camp on December 20th at the Credit Union Place DOME in Summerside.
This camp is not part of the 2026 Provincial Team tryout process – the event is open to all Male and Female athletes born 2008-2014 regardless of their skill level or intent on trying out for the 2026 Provincial Flag teams.

PEI Frozen Flag Open

Males, Females, U16, U18 (2009-2012)
Must register in advance. Spaces are limited.

The PEI Frozen Flag Open is an annual winter flag football tournament. The 2026 version will be the first ever and will feature four divisions: U16 Male, U16 Female, U18 Male, and U18 Female. Each division will be made up of 5 teams. Divisions will play over three separate weekends with two weekends being a round robin and the final weekend being playoffs. Each team is guaranteed four games in the round robin and one game in the playoffs. The playoff weekend format is listed below and includes a play-in, semifinals, and finals for each division.

This is an ‘Open Event’ – not a Club Event: Football PEI Clubs are encouraged to enter their own teams, if they wish. However, rosters do not need to be made from individual Football PEI Clubs. Athletes from multiple different Football PEI Clubs may be placed on the same roster.
